PS 11 Turtle

while watching TV1's National Geographic documentary of ocean life.
it kinda strikes me to post or BLOG something about TURTLEs!
i learnt briefly about turtles in my last semester under the subject : Vertebrates.
so in my blog this time i would like to share some info on turtles..

FACTS:

1. Do you know that turtle's jantina or sex (male/female) is determine by incubation temperature?
- Higher incubation temperature will produce a female turtle while lower incubation temperature produces male turtle.
- Well, due to the seawater's rise in temperature thankx to global warming, more female turtles are produced.

2. Turtles often mistaken plastic bags thrown to the sea as jellyfish!
- When they eat these plastic bags, they struggle helplessly to release themselves from those fake jellyfish.

- But..most of the turtles didnt manage to save themselves. Isnt it saddening?!

3. Have you ever come across people eating turtle's meat and even its eggs?!

- It is happening. Even turtle eggs are sold in the market.

So, my conclusion is SAVE OUR TURTLES!

Prevent them from being extinct.
