rainy days in penang

HELLO from Penang the Pearl of the Orient!~

just reached penang island about 9pm with my dad and aunt..
but before that we dropped by nibong tebal for a small dinner..
ordered fish and vegetables..
and not forgetting my favourite dish "tu bo sui" - picture at the end of the post [ manage to catch a pic of it at last]..
we headed to gurney plaza to meet up with my bro soon after we reach..
he said that we would be going for movie but i was not sure what movie we are about to watch..
and the movie was G.I.Joe!~
when i entered the GSC - golden screen cinema's room ..
i kind of get a cinema shock..
it's totally different from the taiping cinema..
and it seems so huge~
the sound system's also good enough..
when i was watching the movie, i felt like i was in the story..
lolz~
the movie was good and 5 stars for the movie!~
shortly after the movie we went back to my bro's apartment which is just a few km away from the plaza..
the apartment is simple and nice with two bedrooms..
gonna sleep on the convertible sofa - bed..nitez!~

23rd August 2009 [12.30am]

woke up around 8am with a headache..

perhaps wrong sleeping position..

aunt said should have bring swimsuit as there's also a swimming pool at where bro's living..

but it was raining in penang..

perhaps we brought the rain from taiping to penang..

we went for breakfast around 10am at the zealand cafe [somewhere near gurney plaza]..

bro ordered fried tanghun, oyster noodle, and 3 other dishes..

me,my dad and aunt then drove to the penang airport in bayan lepas..

to fetch my aunt's bos' brother from singapore which was due to reach at 11.30am..

but we nearly waited for 3 hours as the plane had to be diverted to KLIA thanks to the bad weather..

it was raining all the way..

reached at taiping about 5pm..

gonna prepare for my farewell party later..
