held on the 8th month of the lunar calendar..
this is year's festival was kind of ok..
serena came to my house at early as 6.00pm after her work.
my friends were planning to gather at my house first at 6.30pm before we started off our activity..
however they were abit late and reached at my house at 7pm - malaysian timing as usual.hehe!^^jkjk.
there were me,serena,txin and his bro,jenn,agnes and her bf:gan and also sherlyn..
we then walked to serena's workplace to buy some candles and lanterns..
all of us except gan and agnes walked to the prima kopitiam or what we usually call chinatown..
the two non-walkers went there by car..
at chinatown we spotted kokleong and also mr.koay with his wife..
dont think they saw us.lolz!~
after the dinner at chinatown,
we walked to gan's car as it seems that it will rain soon..
gan asked jenn to drive his car while he and agnes would walk to the lake garden and meet us there..
within seconds after they left us..
it started raining heavily!
all of us quickly get into the car..
agnes then called me asked us to go round and fetch them later..
i thought she asked us to go round the lake garden first then only fetch them..
so we really went and ride round the lake garden and dropped txin,serena,sherlyn and txin's bro at jenn's car..
while me and jenn went and fetch agnes and gan..
agnes asked why were we late..
and i said we went round the lake garden..
she was dumbfounded with me.guess i interprate wrongly her words d..sorry ya!~
we then headed to jennifer's house..
where yanming,sheayuin and junlyn meet us up there..
we went there for some jellymooncake - our deserts..
3 flavours this year : red bean,coffee and corn..
yummy!~ certainly prefer jelly mooncakes over normal/original mooncakes..
later we decided to head back to the lake garden..
jenn brought along txin's guitar,too..
found a good location to lit the candles and lanterns - a pondok..
we reused the candles that was left by the people who had use the pondok for the festival..
we even sang songs while lighting up all the lanterns..
we stayed there till 11 something..
as it was still raining..
we decided to go to siang malam but it was closed..
so we headed to txin's house..
watched Mr Bean's holiday there.quite funny..
friends, hopefully we can gather again next year and years to come oh..
